Greeley Then and Now

Greeley has gone through many changes. Many of the original buildings are gone but there are a few still standing. See how the buildings appeared back in time and compare to the buildings today. Click on the old building picture to see the building today.

Many businesses have come and gone through the years. A few are still in operation after 100 or so years. Greeley Hat Works was established back in 1909 and was still in operation in Downtown Greeley until 2005. The company makes custom hats. They even made one for President George W. Bush. Weld County Garage moved to Highway 34 and 47 Avenue in 2003 after being downtown for almost 100 years. The old location was used for the new ice rink. Weld County Garage sold their first car in 1910. Click on the thumbnails to see a larger picture then close the window.
