Many businesses have come and gone through the
years.
A few are still in operation after 100
or so years. Greeley Hat Works was established back in 1909 and
was still in operation in Downtown Greeley until 2005. The company makes custom
hats. They even made one for President George W. Bush.
Weld County Garage moved to Highway 34 and 47
Avenue in 2003 after being downtown for almost 100 years. The old
location was used for the new ice rink. Weld County Garage sold their
first car in 1910.
