Fiesta

The Greeley Fiesta Celebration grew out of the Greeley Independence Day Stampede.
The Stampede had included a Mexican Rodeo Day for several years but decided to eliminate that part of the Stampede Week. Several Hispanic Groups in Greeley decided to host their own celebration Fiesta. The Fiesta Celebration began in 2001.

The Fiesta Celebration includes many different activities.
The Fiesta features a Mexican Rodeo, softball and golf tournaments, cooking contests, parades, and entertainment. It lasts for a week and has day time and evening activities.
